About Me

109686684_178783383642731_9094648670707649391_n.jpgI am a coach that is interested in every aspect of the game. Currently working as both the Assistant Coach and Video Analyst for Atlanta United FC’s Professional Development Pathway (USL through U15) while completing my UEFA A/Elite Youth A License and Master Coach Diploma.

Starting in 2015 I worked as the First-Team Performance Analyst for Columbus Crew SC under current USMNT Head Coach Gregg Berhalter where I was responsible for Tactical Analysis of Columbus Crew SC as well as Opponent Scouting. I joined this MLS First-Team technical staff at the age of 20.

Before joining Columbus, I worked as a volunteer assistant coach and video analyst for the University of North Georgia’s men’s soccer team in addition to many years of coaching at the youth and high school levels. I have worked with every level of player from recreational to the national team, both male and female.

Starting in 2017 I have worked with USMNT players on an individual basis in order to improve the players’ tactical development. Through training drills, analysis, and videos I improve the players’ positioning, body position, scanning (before, during, and after the action), decision-making, and execution. Everything comes from what a player sees and thinks, therefore everything is done to improve the individual perception and decision-making.

From 2017 to 2020 I worked in roles such as the associate head coach at Flowery Branch High School, the head coach and head of the video department at United Futbol Academy, and as a coach on the Georgia Olympic Development Program staff.

In January 2020 I joined the Atlanta United FC Academy as an assistant coach and video analyst – from there I worked with the 1st team and then moved into a role overseeing the USL and Academy. Some of my responsibilities include assisting in creating, preparing, and delivering training sessions. I also provide tactics and strategy for game-plans against upcoming opponents, analyze our matches, model, and trainings both qualitatively and quantitatively. Finally, I helped create, feedback, and improve the academy’s game model and principles of play.

I have earned the following licenses, degrees, and certifications:

  • UEFA A/Elite Youth A (Currently Completing)
  • UEFA B License
  • USC Master Coach Diploma (Currently Completing)
  • USC Premier Diploma
  • USC Advanced National Diploma
  • USC National Diploma

  • USSF E License
  • USSF F License
  • MSc in Soccer Coaching from the OHIO University
  • BSc in Kinesiology from the University of North Georgia
  • ASc in Exercise Science from the University of North Georgia

I am continuing to further my own education and earn higher licenses, degrees, and certifications in multiple organizations.

I was born in Germany and am of Bosnian heritage. I moved to Atlanta, Georgia in my youth – where I have remained ever since.
